Everyone needs to read this and watch the TED Talk video below. We have been lied to for way too long about what we should be eating. Thanks to the introduction of the USDA Food Guidelines in 1977, we’ve all been eating a massive amount of carbohydrates in the form of ‘whole grains’, purportedly healthy ‘vegetable oils’, which are in reality gasoline refining byproducts, and ‘low fat’ now for 30 years. For 30 years our rates of obesity, Type II Diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimer’s have exponentially risen in that exact time period.
Coincidence? No, it’s not! Our government politicians have issued eating guidelines to benefit their lobbyists, NOT our health!!!
The Bottom Line
A woman with a 20 year history of Type II diabetes; massively out of control despite multiple medications including almost 300 units of insulin a day via a pump.
Changed what she ate and…. (~10:00 minutes in folks)
“Her blood sugar levels were now normal all of the time. This on….. no diabetes medication. Gone was the 300 units of insulin, gone was the insulin pump, no more pricking the finger multiple times.”
GOT THAT FOLKS?
THREE HUNDRED units of insulin plus multiple other diabetes medications to nothing, which in addition to the outrageous cost of such medications also means no more inevitable organ damage, blindness and amputations.
What did she change?
Bet you know, but don’t want to admit it.
So do you want to go blind, have your fingers and toes cut off, and eventually die, probably after having to go on dialysis on top of the rest?
Oh, and if you’re not diabetic (as I have never been)?
What makes you think you’re not susceptible to Type II diabetes, especially if you are to any degree overweight or obese and then explain to me why you wouldn’t cut the crap (carbs) now and avoid the risk?
“No grains, potatoes or sugar.”
Now pardon me while I go eat my pot roast.
