The toilet bowl protest
Fri, 07/18/2008 - 18:46 — cobra2411On July 31st we are going to setup at 8am outside the Cannon house office building on the corner of Independence Ave and New Jersey Ave with a toilet with instructions for people to deposit their collateral into the bowl in exchange for a loan from the Fed Up USA.
We need people though, so far with short notice we have about 20 people confirmed to show but we're allowed to have 75. I would like it if enough people showed up that we are asked to leave...
What can I do?

Congressmen respond to angry constituents. They don't respond if they don't hear you complain. Therefore, if you want to get them to do something, it is VITAL that you complain to them.
Your complaint needs six components to be successful:
1. Specific
2. Frequent
3. Specific
4. Frequent
5. Specific
6. Frequent
CALL your congressman, don't just write him.
FAX your congressman, don't just call him.
EMAIL your congressman, don't just fax him.
