The purpose of the April 25th protest was to give people hope that we can make a difference.
Congressmen respond to angry constituents. They don't respond if they don't hear you complain. Therefore, if you want to get them to do something, it is VITAL that you complain to them.
Your complaint needs six components to be successful:
1. Specific
2. Frequent
3. Specific
4. Frequent
5. Specific
6. Frequent
CALL your congressman, don't just write him.
FAX your congressman, don't just call him.
EMAIL your congressman, don't just fax him.
WRITE your congressman, don't just email him.
If you will commit to contact your congressmen weekly, (it will take ten minutes of your time), your congressmen will do the right thing if for no other reason than to get you off their backs.
