On the morning of June 6, 2012, a small group of Michigan Republicans met in a closed-door meeting in Novi, to decide which write-in candidate to foist upon the public in the August 7^th primary election. While designed to clean up the mess left behind when Representative McCotter failed to turn in the requisite signatures to appear on August 7^th’s primary ballot, this meeting did something very different: it illustrated, in no uncertain terms, that elitism is alive and well in the 11^th District in Michigan.

Why, with a perfectly qualified candidate already on the ballot…a candidate that has run before and has been thoroughly vetted…a candidate that supports conservative, Republican values and positions…would the “higher ups” in the Republican Party of Michigan try to run a write-in candidate and attempt to garner public support for them so late in the race?

The answer is both simple and disgusting…a tight core of Republican insiders in Michigan believe they will not be able to control Mr. Bentivolio should he be elected to Congress, and fear how he will vote. These overlord-wannabees, condescending to us from on high, do not seem to realize that the entire purpose of our representative republic is to prevent small groups of oligarchs from gaining such power. We voters should remember this, and explain it to them in the next election.

Nominating petition signatures are gathered for a specific reason: for candidates to gain ballot access. This process forces the candidate and/or his/her staff to go out and actually meet with people, explain their position(s) on the issue(s) and garner their support in a one-on-one setting. When a candidate gathers and submits enough qualified signatures, it demonstrates that the public is interested enough in their candidacy that they would at least like to see them on the ballot…that the candidate has enough “will of the people” behind them to possibly even be elected. Without the signatures, candidates cannot demonstrate any quantity of public support.

Mr. McCotter failed to submit the required signatures on time, and has since dropped out of the race entirely. McCotter’s efforts in this election cycle were in fact so bad, that felonies may have been committed in the process.

Mr. Bentivolio and his team of volunteers, did all of the necessary work to acquire and submit the requisite 1,000 valid signatures on time, and is now the only Republican candidate that will appear on the ballot.

Having gathered exactly no signatures on any petition in this election cycle, Nancy Cassis can claim to have the “public support” of precisely one group: the Republican insiders that are attempting nearly dictatorial control of the election.

For a small, inner circle of Republicans to foist upon the public yet another candidate (which, prior to now, had been uninterested in running for office) is both outrageous and repulsive. It offends the sensibilities of American voters to be dictated to, and voters in the 11^th District in Michigan would do well to remember this experience on August 7^th.

GOP leadership in Michigan had better think twice before strong-arming the citizenry into voting for their “hand-chosen pet” Representative…especially those that are elected into their positions. The ramifications are coming…

President Franklin D. Roosevelt said those words two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, but they can be applied to the threat that America and mankind faces today: financial terrorism by global, private central banks such as the Bank for International Settlements and the Federal Reserve Bank. These banks are robbing and destroying America in broad daylight while the resources of the FBI, CIA, and U.S. Military are being wasted and misdirected on purpose to hunt down imaginary terrorists and Islamic villains like Osama Bin Laden who was not responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

As Max Keiser said two years ago on French television, the financial terrorists on Wall Street are worse than Bin Laden. “These guys are financial terrorists, they should be decapitated,” said Keiser, referring to the banking CEOs on Wall Street. “Throughout history,” he added, “when bankers have seized control of the system and impoverished the community there’s been some penalty to pay.”

The real terrorists who are threatening the freedoms and security of the American people are not wearing turbans and walking down villages in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The real terrorists are wearing suits and walking down Wall Street, and K Street: Hank Paulson, Lloyd Blankfein, and the CEOs of other treasonous Wall Street banks who robbed the American people and bankrupted America along with the political leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties. These men created a massive financial crisis that might ultimately bring down America and Western civilization as we know it.

In February, the Pentagon tried to connect Islamic terrorists to the 2008 financial crisis, but nobody is buying their half-baked conspiratorial bullshit. Washington’s Blog stated in March:

Indeed, the real conspiracy is that the government is trying to hide the fact that massive conspiracy to commit fraud by Wall Street’s biggest players is a prime cause of the financial crisis.

The 2008 financial crisis was the Pearl Harbor in the new world order’s economic war against the American people. And just like Pearl Harbor it was preventable and did not need to happen. If the government had regulated the banks, abolished the Federal Reserve, and restored a sound monetary system then millions of people would not be suffering and wondering why their lives have been torn apart for no fault of their own.

Independent journalist David DeGraw, publisher of the website AmpedStatus, wrote in March 2010 that the global economic elite have robbed America and seized its government in an article called  “Is It Time for Law Abiding American Citizens to Stop Paying Their Taxes and Start a New Government?”:

The Economic Elite have seized our economy, tax system and government. These people are the most depraved terrorists on the planet and they have viciously attacked us and launched an all-out economic war on the American public. We have to get serious about defending ourselves and fighting back.

In another article called “The Financial Terrorists Who Destroyed Our Economy Will Pay Zero in Taxes — and Get $33 Billion in Refunds” DeGraw said that the financial crisis was really a massive transfer of wealth from the bottom 99% to a bunch of parasitic and sociopathic financial thieves who produce no products, create no jobs, and provide no labor. They gain wealth and power by creating money out of thin air and lend it to national governments at interest. DeGraw:

The first thing people need to understand is that the economic crash wasn’t a crash for the people who caused it. In fact, these financial terrorists are now doing better than ever.

In the last three decades Western oligarchical banks have financialized the global economy, deindustrialized America, and destroyed the middle classes of the Western world. The long-term economic policies of Western nations have created a two-tier class society, mass poverty, mass unemployment, and a global debt crisis.

Rather than attack the root of the crisis, which are the elitist policies of the Federal Reserve Bank, the hijackers of the U.S. government have quietly instituted a regime of repression and terror in America to keep the American people in check and prevent a revolution from taking place. The political elite in Washington think that a giant police state will fix all their fiscal and political problems and keep the people at bay. In the process of setting up their technocratic police state they have annihilated the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, turned freedom into a dirty word, and destroyed the rule of law.

In the event of a new false flag attack the police state will officially be brought out into the open to suppress popular dissent and enforce the official standards of patriotism and citizenship, as written by the globalist state terrorists themselves who have stolen the federal government. People will be told to follow government orders or face the firing squad. Brainwashed cops, corporate mercenaries and TSA agents will be given total impunity to maintain a false sense of order and security.

The individuals and groups who are thinking about resisting their enslavement are already being persecuted as “right wing extremists” and “domestic terrorists” by the government. This is a dangerous step and a precursor to absolute state terror.

History shows that government persecution of certain groups does not stop at name calling. Imprisonment and state murder always follows state persecution. If you believe you have God-given rights and do not want to surrender those rights to the government then you will eventually be imprisoned and/or killed.

As Albert Camus said, aristocratic tyrants always blacken the name of the people and their heroes. We must resist the classification of rebels as “terrorists” and “extremists.” The state terrorists, tyrants, traitors, thieves and criminals who have captured power in America are in it for the long haul, and mass murder is on the agenda. But they can’t carry out their plans if people refuse to go along with their propaganda.

Sooner or later, a war between the forces of freedom and the forces of tyranny must be fought. Let’s hope 99% of the war is won before shots are fired because bloodshed can be avoided if people wise up and bring their true enemies to justice instead of worrying about manufactured terrorists like Bin Laden.

The real enemies of America and the West have hijacked the American government, and enslaved the people in the name of protecting them from make-believe “terrorists.” They are enemies of the public order, the rule of law, freedom, and peace.

If the truth about 9/11 and the real purpose for the transnational technocratic police state does not take hold in the minds of the people then the government gangsters will be free to pursue their mad dreams and control the destiny of the human species.

The guilty are powerful and free, the innocent burdened and oppressed: that is injustice.

There is a fundamental injustice that is poisoning the soul of the nation, and if it is not openly addressed then the nation will face the explosive consequences of institutionalized injustice.

Simply put, it is this: those responsible for the nation’s financial crisis and its catastrophic after-effects are not paying for the consequences of their actions–it is the innocent, those who were not responsible, who are paying the price.

You can call it whatever you want: the Anarchy of the Super-Rich (as per Paul Farrell), the Financial Power Elite, the financial Oligarchy, Plutocracy or Corporatocracy, or the unprecedented concentration of financial wealth and political power in a financialized post-industrial economy. Whatever you call it, we all know this class of financiers and its minions got away with high financial crimes.

Do the crime, do the time–unless it’s “white-collar” financial crime on a vast scale. Then you might pay a wrist-slap fine (a few million dollars from your treasure of embezzled hundreds of millions) and then you’re free to go on your merry way.

The after-effects are not just the losses which can be totalled on a calculator: the really catastrophic losses are to the foundations of democracy and the economy. Democracy has been subverted–oh please, spare us the happy-story propaganda about “reform” and “the system worked”–and the economy has been incentivized to favor poisonously addictive financialization and the shadow institutions of corruption, fraud, embezzlement, favoritism, collusion and misrepresentation of risk. This might be summarized as the protection of vested interests, engineered and overseen by the partnership of the ever more intrusive Central State and the nation’s Financial Power Elite.

The Central State, designed to protect the citizenry from an oppressive monarchy or Elite, now protects this Elite from the citizenry. That is how thoroughly the injustice has been institutionalized.

There is a second part to this fundamental injustice: look who will pay for the bailouts, guarantees and the interest on the borrowed trillions. Not the banks and bankers, to be sure. Who will pay? Those who the Central State can easily tap: taxpayers who earn most of their income from wages, and those politically weak players dependent on government payments.

Now that the bills of the bailout are coming due, the State isn’t going after GE for more taxes. Heavens no–if you try that, the Panzer Division of GE’s tax avoidance army would overrun you. No, the politically easy thing to do is raise taxes on wage earners and trim entitlements, because all the government needs to do is send down the orders and it is done: the taxes are withheld and the bennies trimmed.

To go after the Power Elite is just too difficult. They have the tax attorneys, the lobbyists, the campaign fundraisers, and all the rest.

The U.S. is just a third world kleptocracy on an Imperial scale. I explored the parallels with the Roman Empire in Survival+: the Elites increasingly avoided military service and taxation, the bedrock of Roman power, while the taxes on the middle class rose to such heights that this productive class was basically driven into serfdom. The bottom layer of State dependents was placated and made complicit with bread and circuses–yes, Rome had a vast “welfare state” and much of Rome’s population received free bread to keep them quiet and pliant.

That is of course a road to ruin: let the Elite plunder at will, protected by the Imperial Central State, tax the productive class to fund the armed forces and free bread, and then buy off the lower class with bread and circuses.

The only successful model of reconciliation and justice we have is the “truth commissions” in other post-oppression autocratic kleptocracies. In countries that were deeply divided and poisoned by institutionalized injustice and exploitation, the healing process requires a public, transparent “truth commission” in which the guilty are brought forth to confess their sins against the innocent and face the consequences of their actions.

If a society cannot rouse itself to cleanse the fundamental injustice at the heart of its institutions, then it is effectively choosing self-destruction.

So far, the U.S. is pursuing the Roman Imperial model with an institutional zeal unmatched since Rome’s fall.

Embedded institutional injustice has a price, a price which rises with every passing day of propaganda and prevarication. Some day the bill will come due and a terrible price paid in full. For those in power, the only concern is that it not be today or tomorrow.
